ASL or American Sign Language is the standard version of sign language that is used around the world. Different from other languages, it is most commonly used by hearing-impaired individuals.
It is amazing that one language is used worldwide. It is far different from the language that we have because humans living in this world speaks many language and it is hard for people who does not have the common language to speak.
Learning sign language could break the language barrier because majority of the sign language gestures is the same even when you are divided by different background or mother tongue language.
Sign language is not made only for hearing-impaired but for all of us who wants to learn them. It is very easy to sign when you get the hang of it. Sign also helps us to communicate better with those who can not speak.
Having the advantage of knowing how to sign is a boost because not many people knows how to sign.
You can learn how to sign via Youtube. There are many videos provided by ASL based version and the videos are quite funny even when there is no sound. Give it a try so we can have extra knowledge about something new.
